Mobile Tire & Lube Technician - Full Time

The Position

As a Mobile Tire & Lube Technician, you will have your own work van provided with all the right equipment you need. You will access all your jobs, schedules and company chat through our company apps on your smartphone and each day you will be working in a different area of the city. You will see new things, meet new people and simultaneously work with a motivated team in a growth and innovation culture. You will be serving both consumers and fleet vehicles and as such you must be able to work well independently and have a high degree of quality control. We believe in getting the job done right, the first time! You will generally operate out of our head office & shop (centrally located) and be dispatched to a variety of areas. Ultimately, we are building a family-like team... a tribe if you will, and we want the right people to be involved. GoWrench brings "Repairs, Tires and More Right To Your Door". We are an innovative mobile vehicle repair and maintenance company. We send licensed mechanics as well as tire & lube technicians to clients' homes and fleet businesses for anything from diagnostics, repairs, tire service, oil changes and more.

We offer our customers the convenience of at-home/at-work & roadside tire service, tire storage, and new tire & wheel sales as well. We believe that to treat our customers well we must have staff that are happy and enthusiastic.

Minimum requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in English – written and oral
  • Provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence upon job offer and on an annual basis
  • Knowledge of automotive services and maintenance is an asset but not required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Current first aid and CPR is considered an asset

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers
  • Performing tire services according to TIA standards including Tire removal/installation/repair; safely for all passenger and light truck vehicles (on and off rim)
  • Performing maintenance & lube services
  • Discussing products and services with customers
  • Providing recommendations based on vehicle assessments
  • Suggesting new products and services
  • Tire and product sales if required
  • Ensuring truck, tools and other materials are maintained and organized.
  • Communicating with other team members with respect to services completed and any arising issues
  • Ensuring customer service experience is best in class
  • Maintaining and organizing tools and equipment
  • Using a smartphone and company provided apps
